Rooibos wordt gemaakt van de bladeren van de rooibos plant en is oorspronkelijk afkomstig uit Zuid-Afrika. De thee wordt gekenmerkt door een frisse, notige smaak en de heldere roodachtige kleur.<\/p>\n

Rooibos is populair als alternatief op traditionele theesoorten omdat het geen caffeine bevat.<\/p>\n

Rooibos is erg gezond omdat het anti-oxidanten bevat, zoals polyfenolen en flavono\u00efden, en diverse gezondheidsvoordelen kan hebben. Zo kan het het de gezondheid van het hart en de spijsverteringsstelsel verbeteren en zijn er aanwijzingen dat het anti-allergische eigenschappen heeft.
